Anyone who hasn’t had this hard, green squash is missing out. It costs $1.12 cents total and is so succulent, so fresh, and such an easy dinner idea, just peel it, slice it, saute in a bit of oil than cover with about 1/2 cup milk, or cream (I’m a big fan of heavy cream, even for my coffee) and add salt, pepper, cayenne dash, and small amount of cilantro or parsley. Let the milk infuse and enjoy after about 8 minutes on the skillet. Delicious! I know you will love it! Amazingly it’s so juicy yet from such a dry area in parts of Mexico.
